Mike Uchitel:
We originally hired Mike to detail the motorcycles, at which job he was highly mediocre. Two weeks later we caught him meeting with our BMW corporate rep and issuing orders to the rest of the staff. Since he appeared to be slightly more competent being in charge than he did washing bikes we felt it best to just leave it alone. Apparently 25 plus years of riding BMWs does leave you qualified for something, much as Mike's mother might disagree.
Mike is first and foremost a rider. There will never be a product or service offered at BMW Motorcycles of Utah that Mike hasn't or wouldn't be pleased to ride with himself. Period. Mike has been around the BMW Motorrad corporate scene since '04 and is well versed in getting the customer what they want. He is passionate, enthusiastic, experienced and has as his primary concern making sure you are on the right bike and loving the experience all the way through. It is Mike's personal responsibility to make sure your experience in the dealership is second to none. He wants and needs to hear about it if it was otherwise. Mike can always be reached on his cell at 801-502-7174 or via e-mail at mike@bmwmotorcyclesofutah.com. Come in even just to chat--Mike digs that--or take a demo ride on something you've always wanted to try. He very much looks forward to seeing you.
| Andy Grover:
Andy comes to us with years of experience as a rider, technician, service writer, and ultimately, service manager. Andy is the type of rider who deeply cares about your motorcycle. This profound concern leads Andy to stay on the cutting edge of all training, all technical bulletins, all service innovations, and all maintanance proceedures. He is always current on the latest recalls and he is fully fluent in the BMW and Husky warranty process. He has all this going for him as well as a commitment to customer service that is unsurpassed. Andy is also fully abreast of the latest accessories for your ride and has a staff of technicians with the skill to install anything anywhere! He also usually has some nifty service specials brewing, especially as we get into the colder weather, so give him a call anytime--he'd love nothing more than to talk about your ride. |
| Ryan Stanley, our newest addition to the Utah Motorrad team comes to us from the pergatory of the car world. A parts manager for many years, Ryan jumped at the "twice the work, half the money" proposition and came back into the bike world to head up our parts department. Ryan is an old school rider with an old school parts manager ethic--take care of the customer, be helpful, know your product and stock only what you yourself would use. We feel very lucky to have him and he is very excited to help you. | |
| Jamie Johnston:
Jamie handles our business operations and is the face you will see when signing for your new motorcycle. Jamie has years of experience in the world of finance and can be found out with her husband on his beemer most weekends...but don't ask her to ride in the rain. Jamie is a wonderful resource for finding you the very best rates and programs to finance your ride and has a goodly number of products available for you and your bike. She is nothing but helpful and always has your best interest at heart.
| Dana DeMambro:
Dana is our senior mechanic (don't call him a technician, mechanics fix things, techs just bolt stuff on). While we worry that Dana might be a bit too anal about the shop we keep our mouths shut lest he become grumpy (remember, he is a mechanic after all) There is nothing Dana cannot diagnose and fix and he is second to none at electrical work. If you want something wired to your bike he is the man to do it. Dana brings decades of experience from the shop to the pits to the Xgames to a couple of impressive desert finishes back in the day. Unlike most service gurus, Dana is happy to share his knowledge and experience freely, so keep his shop tidy and you can ask him anything you want
| Matt Reynolds:
Matt is our parts and accessories guru. A deeper resourse for dressing up your BMW you cannot find. Matt comes with years of experience as both a rider and a parts afficianado and really wants to be your only parts and accessories resource. Matt's motto: If I don't have it, I can get it--quickly. Matt is well versed in hard parts and electronics with a particular specialty in the adveture riding segment. An avid adventure rider himself Matt recently had to sign the store crash helmet when he went down on the dirt on his 1200 GS and broke his tibia. So please, don't push him. Rather than drive, Matt bought a collapsible cain, tucked it into a loaner bike saddle bag, and got back on the horse so to speak. Don't worry Matt--Andy and Dana will make your bike like new! Rubber side down Matt...

| Renn "Rennsport" Charlesworth has just become our newest team member but he is already the wise man of the dealership. Cut this guy and he bleeds BMW blue. He has had them all and riden them all. We couldn't be more pleased that he is here---he truly embodies our store philosophy: Expert in his field but with the low pressure approach that puts the customers comfort and satisfaction foremost. As with Mike, Renn's ONLY goal is to make sure you are on the bike that is right for you and the kind of riding you want to do. We promise, this guy will make you happy. | |
